A band built on brothers is on the show today called the Khajvandis (an Iranian name).On the show is older brother Anoush Khajvandi, with influences from blues, rock, and jazz. The band creates a contemporary vibrance with music that feels like a drive on the edge of the bay, the song Beneath the Blues featured, has lyrics that resonate from the Recession felt in these times, drums on fire by Manucher, and Exquisite guitar playing by Anoush. Music is a driving force in myself and is something culture cant breathe without. Other art forms and Independent films is something I'm into. to define the diversity of the BayArea will take you too long to really find the soul of the people that reside here. The show is about the culture here in SanFrancsico's Bay area, the local art and music and those who do it around the bay, interviews with the artists and musicians who make it happen and the places where it is found. The show will highlight those local artists living and creating in a unique place.
